Our Celebrity Visitor

We had a short visit last night from a good friend. We were buds back in the college days, and don't get to see each other very often anymore, but whenever we do, it's always great fun.

He's in the army, and was just heading through town on his way to Washington for a couple weeks of training exercises. I can't tell you how excited the kids were to have company. They were pulling out all the stops. Tonight, Orion told me how our friend woke up this morning and put on his "army clothes" and then everyone got to have their picture taken with him. It was as if a major celebrity had come walking right into our living room.
